Dating Old Photographs
Provides an approach for dating and identifying old photographs that includes dating photographic method; dating clothing, props, and setting; and analyzing occasion and location. Actual period photographs are provided for attendees to examine. Includes interactive session analyzing and dating mystery photos, including personal photos contributed by participants.
The History of Fashion
Beginning with the revolution in fashion that occurred at the beginning of the 19th century, a methodology is shared for dating fashions based on identifying changes in silhouettes. Actual vintage clothing items dating between 1820 and 1920 are shared with the participants, who will practice their new skills dating vintage clothing.
