If they do, then you have roots in the largest mountain range that sits between the Rocky Mountains and the Appalachians, known as the Ozark Mountains. This lecture includes a short overview of the history and culture of the Ozark Region, followed by information on a variety of tools, sources and methods you may find useful in your Ozark and southern Midwest research.
